Loch Gilp, from Poltalloch Street in Lochgilphead

Loch Gilp (Scottish Gaelic: "Loch Gilb"[citation needed]) is a small inlet on Loch Fyne which gives its name to Lochgilphead. The Crinan Canal extends from the loch across to Crinan itself.[1]
