Marco Ilaimaharitra (born 26 July 1995 in Mulhouse) is a French footballer of Malagasy descent[1] who currently plays as a defensive midfielder for Ligue 2 side FC Sochaux-Montbéliard.[2] He is a youth exponent from the club. He made his full debut at 14 December 2013 in a 1-0 away defeat against OGC Nice.[3] Four days later he featured in the Coupe de la Ligue against OGC Nice. "Ilaimaharitra" literally means "just do it" in Malagasy.[4]
