Masooda is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language supernatural horror film written and directed by debutant Sai Kiran, and produced by Rahul Yadav Nakka through the Swadharm Entertainment. The film features Sangeetha, Thiruveer, Kavya Kalyan Ram and Subhalekha Sudhakar in primary roles. The film was released on 18 November 2022.[1]
Plot
The simple lives of Neelam, a single mother, and Nazia, her daughter, take a horrific turn when an evil force enters into their lives. The story revolves around how Gopi, their helpful neighbor, and Neelam face the odds and save Nazia.

Masooda was released on 18 November 2022.[1]
Reception
The Times of India gave a rating of 3 out of 5 stating that "Masooda is a well-made horror offering".[2] Sangeetha Devi Dundoo of The Hindu opined that the film squandered its potential with a long-drawn narrative that feels incomplete.[3] Citing it as "a true-blue horror film", Jeevi of Idlebrain praised score, performance of lead actors and screenplay while criticizing the duration and slow-paced narration.[4]
