Maxim Romanov (born in Kazan, Russia) is a Russian rugby league player currently playing for the Kazan Arrows in the Championship of Russia competition. His position of choice is usually in the forwards at lock.

Romanov has also represented the Russian national side on several occasions most notably at the 2000 World Cup.
