The Minister of State for Trade and Development is a junior ministerial post in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Government of Ireland. Until 2011 the office was titled Minister of State for Trade and Commerce.

The Minister works together with the senior Minister in this department and has special responsibility for all affairs in relation to trade and development. The Minister of State does not hold cabinet rank.
