Mi-young, also spelled as Mee-young, Mi-yeong, and Mi-yong is a Korean feminine given name. It was the seventh-most popular name for newborn girls in South Korea in 1960, falling to tenth place by 1970.[1]

Its meaning differs based on the hanja used to write each syllable of the name. There are 33 hanja with the reading "mi" and 34 hanja with the reading "young" on the South Korean government's official list of hanja which may be used in given names.[2] Ways of writing this name in hanja include:
