Mountain Dew Code Red is a product in the Mountain Dew family of soft drinks. It was introduced in 2001. It is different from regular Mountain Dew in that is cherry flavored, and this can be easily seen in its bright red color. Mountain Dew Code Red is available all the time, unlike the other flavored variations of Mountain Dew, Mountain Dew LiveWire and Mountain Dew Pitch Black, which were limited time offerings.
