MovieTowne Port of Spain

MovieTowne is a chain of movie theatres in Trinidad and Tobago. There are two MovieTowne cinemas in Trinidad, in Chaguanas and Port of Spain, and the third one is in Tobago, at Gulf View Mall. The Port of Spain MovieTowne has ten screens, a shopping complex, restaurants and a video arcade.

Expansion

MovieTowne is expanding to Guyana and it's going to be open in 2013 and it will create 800 Jobs. This project will cost about $180 Million TT$ (approx.$5.7 Billion Guyana Dollar). MovieTowne Guyana will accommodate 175,000 sq. ft. of retail and entertainment space with eight screens. MovieTowne will be in Guyana's fastest growing urban area of Turkeyen. Massy Stores, Trinidad’s leading supermarket chain will be one of the retail shop in MovieTowne Guyana.[1]

MovieTowne is also expanding to South Trinidad and this project will cost over $300 Million TT$ and it will accommodate retail and entertainment space with ten screens, restaurants and live entertainment arena. MovieTowne San Fernando will be the first MovieTowne in South Trinidad and also the fourth location in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.[2]
