Net-a-Porter was launched in June 2000 by Natalie Massenet as an online luxury fashion shop presented in the style of a fashion magazine.

Fashion collections

It includes collections from over 350 designers, including Chloe, Marc Jacobs, Burberry Prorsum, Miu Miu and Stella McCartney, and ships to 170 countries.

Ownership

In 2010 Richemont bought a 93% stake,[1] valuing the company at $533 million.

The business has grown substantially since then and has become a launchpad for a number of high profile designers.[2]
