Numerati is a term suggesting certain secret/conspiracy tendencies from similar groups like the Illuminati, who seek to control society covertly[1]. Taken from the book 'The Numerati' by Stephen L. Baker, where he argues that the massive amounts of personal digital data typically generated by most people in an advanced technological society are being monitored and modeled by commercially motivated mathematicians who seek to profit from and control human behavior.
