Ponětovice is a village and municipality (obec) in Brno-Country District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 2.4 square kilometres (0.93 sq mi), and has a population of 334 (as at 3 July 2006).
Ponětovice lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) south-east of Brno and 198 km (123 mi) south-east of Prague.
