Pope John Paul II National School is a school in Malahide, County Dublin. The school first opened in 1979 when Pope John Paul II (PJP II) visited Ireland. The school has since become one of the most popular schools in Northside, Dublin, serving all ages from 6 to 15. In 2008, a fire broke out in Room 1A, injuring 3 people. The school was quickly evacuated and the biggest school emergency service in Dublin Northside began. Since then, it has become the strictest school concerning fires in Fingal.
