The Population Investigation Committee is a United Kingdom social research group founded in 1936. It was founded by D.V. Glass, Griselda Rowntree, J.W.B. Douglas and others and since the second world war it has been housed at the London School of Economics.[1] It was founded by the Council of the British Eugenics Society.[2]

It publishes a journal, Population Studies and also offers scholarships to students following a one year masters course with a high demographic content.[3]
