Raisul Islam Asad (born Asaduzzaman Mohammad Raisul Islam in Dhaka, Bangladesh) is a Bangladeshi actor who has won several national awards for performing in all four media of radio, theatre, television and film. He won the National award as best actor for the film Padma Nadeer Majhi in 1993.[1] He is an ex-student of Dhaka Collegiate School and a Freedom Fighter in the Liberation war of Bangladesh in 1971.[2]

He received Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor four times : 1993, 1995, 1997 and 2001.
