Saffron Marni Coomber (born 15 November 1994) is an English actress, best known for her role as Sapphire Fox in Tracy Beaker Returns.

Early and personal life

Coomber attended Blackheath High School and Theatre Street Performing Arts.[1][2] She has one sister named Saskia.

Career

In 2003, Coomber voiced the video game EyeToy: Play. In 2008, Coomber starred in the television movie adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson's Dustbin Baby as Cathy.[3] She then played Molly in three-part children's drama Runaway in 2009.[4][5][6] Also in 2009, she appeared in an episode of The Bill and an episode of Doctors.[7][8] From 2010 to 2012, Coomber played the role of Sapphire Fox in Tracy Beaker Returns.[9][10] She also played Sapphire in two spin-off series, Tracy Beaker Survival Files and The Dumping Ground Dish Up.[11][12] Coomber appeared in an episode of Holby City in 2012 playing Lauren Earnshaw.[13] She played the role of Alexa Smith for 7 episodes in EastEnders between 2012 and 2013.[14][15] In 2013, she played a Box Office Girl in Youngers. In 2015, Coomber appeared in 3 episodes of Cuffs as Bethany Hawkins.[16][17][18][19][20][21] Coomber appeared in 2 short roles, Electricity as Rachel in 2014 and in Mingmong as Annalise in 2015.
