Shakoor Majid (Template:Lang-bn, 22 November 1965) A Bangladeshi architect, writer, cramatist, film maker and photographer.

Birth and Family Life

Shakoor Majid was Born in Mathiura Village at Biani Bazar, Sylhet on 22 November 1965. His father's Name is Abdul Majid,Mother's Name is Farida Khatun. He is the Eldest of his Five brothers and sisters. His father died when he was only 20. Now he lives in Dhaka with his Wife Dr.Hosne Ara Jolly and Two Sons named Ishmam Intesar Majid & Ibon Ibtesham Majid.[1]

Student Life

Shakoor Majid had his Primary Education from Mathiura Model Primary School,Secondary Level Education (1982) and Higher Secondary Education (1984) from Faujdarhat Cadet College. He was in the Merritt list in his Secondary Exam. He graduated in Architecture in 1993 from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). During his student life he worked as journalist in different newspapers.

Employment

In 1993 he along Two other Architects had formed a consulting farm named Triangle Consultants. Till date he is running that. He is also the Managing Director or CEO of some other organization named Tri-Space Ltd.(Construction Company),Britannia Properties Ltd.(Developer Company),View Finder (Visual Media Communication firm). And also a part-time faculty of AhsanUllah University of Science and Technology since 2004.
