Simion Cuţov (May 7, 1952 – 1993)[1] was a boxer from Romania, who represented his native country at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Canada. There he won the silver medal in the lightweight division (– 60 kg) after being defeated in the final by Howard Davis Jr. of the United States.
Cuţov also competed at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, Soviet Union. In 1974 he won the silver medal at the inaugural 1974 World Championships in Havana, Cuba.
