Sleep Token are an anonymous British rock collective.[1] Their second album This Place Will Become Your Tomb was elected by Loudwire as the 12th best rock/metal album of 2021.[2]
Background
The members of Sleep Token are a masked, anonymous collective of musicians said to be united in their worship of an ancient deity identified by them as "Sleep", who appeared to the band's lead singer, "Vessel", in a dream.[3][4]
Touring
The band was scheduled to play at Knotfest 2020, but the event was cancelled due to concerns regarding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.[5] The band has previously toured their home country of the United Kingdom and also opened for Issues in the United States.[6][7] On 18 June 2021, the band performed at Download Pilot, where they headlined the second stage.[8] On 29 April 2022, Vessel performed a special acoustic show, dubbed 'From The Room Below', at Lafayette in London,[9] during which they performed the live debuts of 'Shelter' and a cover of Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah'. In May 2022, they supported Architects in the UK on their "For those that wish to exist" tour.[10][11] [12][13][1][4]
