Southwest Airport Services is a defense fuels contractor that operates out of a 12,500-square-foot (1,160 m2) facility at Ellington Field in the U.S. state of Texas. It offers services such as on-site car rentals, computerized weather systems and high-speed Internet access. It also provides fueling services for the military as well as training facilities.
Southwest Airport Services was established in 1985 by James R. Bath to manage the Houston Gulf Airport until it closed in 2002.[citation needed]
