TFD survey of ‘50 People of the Year 2008’

The renowned non-political personalities of the country including Abdul Sattar Edhi, Dr Adib Rizvi and Ansar Burni have been ranked by the people of Pakistan on top of the list of the fifty most favourite people of 2008, in a survey conducted by the famous business newspaper “The Financial Daily” (TFD). The survey was conducted through web-based opinion poll in which large number of people from all walks of life have entered their favourite personality for the year 2008 from various fields including politics, social work, medicine, education, sports, showbiz, literature, art, engineering, judiciary, business, journalism, science & technology and administration. The highly-admired people from politics include General (R) Pervez Musharraf, Asif Ali Zardari, Altaf Hussain, Nawaz Sharif, Asfandyar Wali, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, Salman Taseer, Pir Pagara, Sherry Rehman, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman, Amin Fahim, Fehmia Mirza, Imran Khan and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
