Proposed move
[edit]Would anyone object if this article was moved from Bernard Matthews (person) to Bernard Matthews, while the article about the company is moved from Bernard Matthews to Bernard Matthews Farms? Surely the man himself is the primary topic and should occupy this title. -- zzuuzz (talk) 19:09, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
Unclear wording
[edit]The article states [following his National Service] Matthews became an insurance clerk to earn an income, and started his company in 1950, buying more turkeys. He was only able to join the business full-time after spending £3,000 [on a property and turkeys to put into it].
This is confusing; "joined the business full-time" implies he joined a pre-existing business, which possibly had other staff, before he worked for it full-time (was he working for it part-time, and/or did the £3000 mean he bought into a pre-existing business as a partner?). This however appears not to be the case if he had to buy a property and livestock; what did the business consist of prior to this without a property and livestock? This requires clarification.
