Major additions needed[edit]

If somebody knows more about this subject than I, please, please add. I would also like to make articles for Eliot's siblings and will do so once I get real information on them. Peer Edit and Suggestions[edit]

I think there are just a few things that could be fixed with your article. First, I believe there are some things that you can link to other Wikipedia pages, such as Washington University in St. Louis, if you would like to. I would just keep an eye out for more of those things if you are interested in making more links. Second, there is a sentence in your Early Life section that is a bit hard to follow, "she was born the second daughter and second of nine children". While after reading it a second time I understood what you were saying, I did have to stop to re-read it, so, I would suggest rewording it. Third, your Life with T.S. Eliot section does not really talk about her life with T.S. Eliot but just about his life. I would suggest changing the title of the section, or adding more information about their relationship, or just not including that section at all. Fourth, you are missing sources on your Work and Action section and your Death section. Lastly, normally the Reference, Notes, and Citation sections are one thing, and yours is a bit confusing. I think that some of your links were not entered right and that might have something to do with it. Also, I believe you have some of her own personal writing on your reference section, and those need to be in their own section. The three that I noticed were these:

Eliot, Charlotte (1899). Easter Songs. Boston: J.H. West. Eliot, Charlotte (1904). William Greenleaf Eliot, minister, educator, philanthropist. Boston, New York: Houghton, Mifflin. Eliot, Charlotte (1926). Savonarola, a dramatic poem. London: R. Cobden-Sanderson.

I don’t have a lot to say about this article honestly. I think it is written extremely well. The only think I could think of is adding more information if you can. Looks like there was a lot of research done. The introduction starts to turn into a run on sentence in my opinion if you wanted to break it up a little bit. Thank you both for your responses, as I can't wait to contribute more to this article. I like that you brought up the point of making more links, as it is important because that would mean that I had more sources, which in turn would make the article more creditable. I need to go through the article and reword sentences that don't seem to make sense. I feel when I do this, it will be more concise and clear. In the T.S. Eliot section, I have researched information, but my research is not complete and therefore I haven't added that information in yet! Once I add this information in, it will be a much better section and make more sense. So reference, notes and citations are all one category? I might look into this just to see.

I will make these changes to the article and add more information. Once the information is added and the article is edited, I think it will turn out to be a great piece! Thank you both for your comments.

I see that there are several pictures that are possibly of Charlotte Champe Stearns online—and definitely one of her grave (here http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=11826374). Can you see about getting those uploaded to WikiCommons to attach to her page? Let's get these women's *faces* on the web too! It looks like there is a picture on ancestry.com. Change title of article to Charlotte Champe Eliot?[edit]
