Al Capone
[edit]I have heard that many famous personalities have stayed at the Biltmore Hotel including, the famous mobster, Al Capone. This might be interesting to research.--Joel M. 14:41, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah. I believe they even have a room there called the "Capone Suite" - Marc Averette 14:43, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
Haunted Halls
[edit]Everything in the article is relevant to the topic but it would be nice to add the theory of the 13th floor being haunted with ghosts roaming the halls from the war. It was also rumored Gangster Thomas "Fatty" Walsh was shot on that same floor. After the hospital closed down in 1968, the Biltmore became abandoned. Kids would always sneak in to see if the ghost stories were true. Over the years the theory of the Biltmore being haunted became so popular that when the hotel reopened ghost stories were told in the lobby every Thursday by the employees.The hotel now offers ghosts tours in October. I believe notorious Gangster Al Capone was never mentioned in the article either. It would probably be a nice addition talking about him and his suite DanielBoix (talk) 03:14, 14 September 2016 (UTC) DanielBoix (talk) 03:21, 14 September 2016 (UTC){{ping|Alfgarciamora}
- @DanielBoix: Nicely done. It would have been good if you had done just a little bit of research to post a reference that people could turn to. Do you know of any books on the Biltmore? Alfgarciamora (talk) 11:42, 16 September 2016 (UTC)
