[edit]This article and some other wiki articles, sourced to Edmonds' Official History, state that the attack was against Hohenzollern Redoubt. Nick Lloyd's excellent 2006 book on Loos makes no mention of Hohenzollern Redoubt, but mentions Fosse 8 - including a direct quote from Haking with whom MSW was having his spat, and on whose biog I've just done a bit more work. They are not that far apart, and Michael Senior's recent biog of Haking (p66) states that MSW's 46th Division had to attack both. If anyone is able to shed a bit more light, feel free. In the meantime I've taken the liberty of adding a brief mention of Fosse 8 to this article.Paulturtle (talk) 13:30, 21 June 2015 (UTC)
