Song disambiguation

If we are not going to give Madonna's song priority over the earlier song of the same name, then it surely makes sense for this article to be a dab between all songs of this name, if there are any others they should be added. PatGallacher (talk) 15:51, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In general, different categories of ambiguous terms are not sorted to separate pages--that is, all ambiguous uses of Hanky Panky should be handled on the dab page Hanky Panky and not split off to separate dab pages, and disambiguated titles that are still too ambiguous to identify a single article--in this case Hanky Panky (song)--should be redirected to the main dab page. I have just read the relevant guideline. "Incomplete disambiguation: When a more specific title is still ambiguous, but not enough so to call for double disambiguation ..."
