Either that or merge this one with Megan Hollingshead. "Karen Thompson" is widely believed to be her alias, and someone has connected the two through her work on Time Crisis 4. Personally, I've heard her as Re-l Mayer in Ergo Proxy and as Maharu in Girls Bravo, and if they aren't the same woman as she who gave us Mai Valentine, I need my ears testing. Karen Thompson is Megan Hollingshead. Megan Hollingshead is her real name this should be merged into that article. Often times voice actors use alias to get around stupid (and pointless) union laws in California. Since no one sees the actual actor, you can't prove they were in the dub just by their vocie, so they use aliases to get around the lame law. She's done work in New York City, where no law exists so she didn't have to use any aliases while there.
