re: Labour service (Hungary)
It is currently stated that the labour service units were sent into Ukraina. But this shows ignorance of geography! They were sent into Russia! The Hungarian army was sent to the front line on river Don, south from Voronesh. This is not Ukraina but Russia.

[edit]I came across this article and noticed its abysmal state: poor grammar, unclear meaning, and misstatements of some facts. Consequently, I did somewhat of a re-write of the first paragraphs, and supplied the major bibliographical works at the end. I've probably made some errors of my own, which others are free to edit and correct. In addition I agree with editor Boskovitz, to the extent that Ukraine was not an independent country, and the description of the troops' destination should properly read "Soviet Union." 66.108.94.216 (talk) 10:33, 19 July 2010 (UTC) Allen Roth
Were Arrow Cross people really involved in this throughout the war?
[edit]the Nyilas mentioned in the article is better known as Arrow Cross Party which came to power in Hungary in the autumn of 1944 and initiated the fiercest period of the Holocaust in the country. I think it is unfortunate that the article does not make clear if these Arrow Cross were in fact prominent in labor battalion management before the takeover (much like Democrats are prominent in management of American universities despite not being the ruling party) or if that only started in 1944. 76.119.30.87 (talk) 19:50, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
