Renaming
[edit]It is my opinion that this page should be renamed, as the MK-3-12 was not the gun itself, but rather the designation of its turret mounting. The gun was known as the "12"/52 caliber Pattern 1907." See here for more details. Jrt989 (talk) 00:46, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
- I agree; moved it with a slight variation in name.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 21:23, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
Coastal gun elevation and range
[edit]According to Finnish data on the twin gun armored coastal turret, maximum elevation was +38° and range with a 453 kg (1000 lb.) shell was 41,000 m (44,800 yd.). The railroad guns could shoot even farther with an elevation of 49° and a lighter shell.--Death Bredon (talk) 20:38, 19 March 2020 (UTC)
