Well, they're going on into their fifth book, have many positive reviews from other rather notable authors, and I also wanted to lighten up the main article for the series. That article is getting kind of unwieldy. --Nerrin 05:26, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's not a substantial amount of information more than was on the original Runelords page. A couple paragraphs more, mainly in the overview on runes, as I recall. So it already had this level of detail, just that it was put on a huge, ugly page before I moved it over to this one. There are enough other fictional worlds where this level of detail is considered acceptable on Wikipedia that I just didn't think it a big deal when creating this page. The books were well-written with excellent plots and inspiring characters. Alas, the books are also unreadable because of the ridiculous use of "endowments" to butcher those plots and render the characters hapless in the face of absurdly over-endowed villains. Thus, the endowments deserve an article of their own, if for no other reason than to show how destructive they are to an otherwise-excellent read. BlueRobe (talk) 00:55, 31 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
