This is a very well-written article and offers significant insight into the ecology of marbled newt frogs. Besides some minor grammatical and sentence structure changes, I have a few recommendations of sections that could include more research and elaboration. Under the description section, I had slight difficulty picturing the "yellowish-white" striped crest of the marbled newt frog "with black". Is this referring to black stripes or dotted spots, etc.? In the distribution and habitat section, I think more research can be done on how marbled newts can physically adapt to habitat and climate changes. Lastly, more clarification could be helpful in the oviposition section, specifically on the part describing how "females prefer to lay their eggs in a different location in an attempt to decrease mortality”. Is this referring to a different location every time they breed? I also noticed that there are no citations in the introduction section at the very beginning, but I am unsure if this is necessary. This article was so well-written, I really enjoyed reviewing it. The structure was perfectly organized, and it followed the Wikipedia outline perfectly. I did change the wording of some sentences because they would go from present to past tense, so I made them all present tense and passive voice. I also fixed the part under Habitat and Distribution where it wasn't clear whether the newt is endangered or not. I read the source article that was cited and copied the information that was in there so make it more clear. I also added a bunch of hyperlinks to enrich the article. Other than that, I also moved some of the text from the taxobox into the lead section (I think it was a formatting issue, so it's fixed now). Overall, this was already a very well-organized article, aside from some minor grammar issues.

I thought that the article was very well written. The information was detailed and concise matching the proper Wikipedia guidelines. The only thing that I thought could be fixed would be changing where the conservation status is written in the lead section. --Qinan123 (talk) 02:41, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think the article is very well written and composed. The information seems to be well placed and organized. The article I changed some of the wording in sentences within the article. For example, “However, the marbled newt, despite its loss of habitat, has experienced more reproductive success.” I changed it to: “Despite the loss of habitat, the marbled newt has experienced more reproductive success.“ I also took out the word “also” from a sentence in the same section as it is excessive. I think perhaps a section for diet and enemies should be added, as it might provide some important information for the newt. I think perhaps a section regarding its coloration and interactions with humans should be added as it could provide some important information.
