Susan James "Catherine Parr"[edit]

Most of these quotes came from Susan James' book. Also, Catherine Parr was the first child of Maud and Sir Thomas Parr. I'm not quite sure where or who decided to change these facts around. It is really quite sad that a lot of people with IP addresses decide to come on here and mess around with historic facts. It just goes to show that you cannot trust wikipedia -- which most people take as the truth. It's frustrating trying to keep up these pages. -- Lady Meg (talk) 05:21, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Greene Line[edit]

There seems to be a discrepancy here. An actual plague has been photographed from the church where the Greene's are buried in Greens Norton. Catherine Parr Pedigree. There are also pictures of the tombs. Then there are sources like Plantagenet Ancestry, Burke's Royal Families, and others omitting the generation of Sir Thomas Greene and Marina Belers. The Plantagenet book even goes as far as saying that Marina was the 2nd wife of Sir Thomas Greene who married Philippa Ferrers; that Thomas and Marina only had three daughters and Marina went on to marry Nicholas Griffin. Notes and References[edit]

The notes and references are very confusing here. Instead of numbering the notes, perhaps they should be put in bullets? Plus, Martienssen isn't exactly the most updated book on Catherine Parr's family. -- Lady Meg (talk) 23:03, 9 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
