I've been listening to the broadcast of this song by the King's College Choir on the BBC since I was a child. My mother always told me that the conductor's choice of the soloist happened immediately before the song was sung, and that every boy in the choir was waiting for that choice, ready to sing if selected. I always believed it, but looking around online, I haven't found any confirmation of that story, and I'm starting to doubt my mom! Does anyone with more familiarity with the concert know if my mom's story is true? I would greatly appreciate it! 68.100.198.67 (talk) 15:46, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
Jethro Tull
[edit]Have Jethro Tull really played 'Once in a Royal David's City'? I've never heard of that... Where is the song? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.191.191.153 (talk) 15:11, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
- Don't know. The whole article lacks sources, so I've added an 'unref' tag. Feline Hymnic (talk) 21:21, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
