The following needs to be included[edit]

The song is often called "Release Me (and Let Me Love Again)" (and I believe there's a redirect to this page from that title). Also, it was covered by Eddy Arnold. It appeared on The Best of Eddy Arnold Vol. II, but I don't know what other albums of his included it. 76.21.8.213 (talk) 04:06, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

There is also a gospel version named, Release Me (From My Sin). Performers include The Kingsmen and George Jones. Chasrmar (talk) 09:59, 17 December 2013 (UTC)

Also written by William McCall[edit]

According to http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=1660 and the credits in the Elvis CD reissue of the album, this song was also written by William McCall.
