Fair use rationale for Image:SKINT46FATBOYSLIM.jpg

[edit]

Image:SKINT46FATBOYSLIM.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

What is it ?

[edit]

I know we don't reproduce lyrics on WP but this song only has one line other than "Right Here, Right Now" and it of itself may be notable that a number of the lyrics data bases all disagree. One says "And not behind it looks like here"; another "Any month it hides it looks like here" but most commonly I see "Waking up to find your love’s not real". Any clues which is so ?-Sticks66 08:17, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fatboy Slim appeared on a US nationwide radio show ~99 and he was asked a question about the lyrics, the caller asking what "waking up to find your loves not real" meant. Fatboy Slim implied that he didn't have a specific plan or lyric there, it just sounded right? He basically said it shouldn't be saying anything... but I hear 'loves not real' every time. Good luck finding that radio show now, i'd like to say It was strykers show108.59.11.233 (talk) 00:41, 17 January 2013 (UTC)cwok[reply]

Climbing Mount Improbably

[edit]

Watching Richard Dawkins' Christmas Lecture 'Climbing Mount Improbable', it seems highly probable that the video for Right Here Right Now was directly inspired by the animated introduction to the lecture. For reference http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JW1rVGgFzWU , aside from the almost identical sequence of evolution, points to notice are when the reptile climbs up a tree to emerge as an ape at the top, and the leap the ape makes to the ground, both VERY similar to RHRN (and the palette looks rather similar too). Unfortunately, I can't find any source that can be cited such that the reference can be included in the article, so perhaps someone else might have better luck? And both were inspired by the opening titles of the cartoon series..Once Upon A Man from the 1970's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqFsA7uM7E4 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.197.45.173 (talk) 19:09, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The guy at the end of the music video is not the same as the one on the cover

[edit]

They used a lookalike since the original cover image is from 1983 2A01:799:5A2:5500:0:0:0:8F5 (talk) 22:15, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
