speedy deletion[edit]

There should be a twelve-hour or twenty-four hour pause before the speedy delete people are allowed to get their hands on articles that are not ready to spring fully-formed from the forehead of their creator. The experience of instantaneous aggression is not conducive to the process of creating articles on serious subjects.Opbeith (talk) 14:15, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Or you could resist uploading material until the article is actually fit for Wikipedia. WWGB (talk) 14:41, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
What I had uploaded to create the article was fit for Wikipedia. I was in the middle of revising further material when I had to do a Hang On because of your precipitate Speedy Delete. I believed that notability was already clear from the fact that Perisic was in a position of senior authority while Milan Lukic perpetrated the Visegrad Massacres - linked in the article to their description as among the worst examples of man's inhumanity to man. I accept that I should have been less precipitate myself in not tidying up before uploading the Hang On.Opbeith (talk) 15:27, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
