Merge with Islamic finance[edit]

This article seems to be a duplicate of Islamic banking and finance which should deal with types of (Islamic) funds and investment restrictions. Instead of a straight merger with Islamic banking and finance, I propose converting the article into a spinoff of a section of Islamic banking and finance, namely Islamic financial transaction terminology (to be renamed Islamic finance products, services and contracts). I am currently working on expanding and improving the Islamic banking and finance article and by the time I'm done it is going to be too large and will need spin offs. Obviously that will change and narrow the topic of the article somewhat, as Investment restrictions will be a pared down version of what is in Islamic banking and finance#Principles.

This article[edit]

created in October 2010, was originally called Sharia Investments, and sort of duplicated parts of Islamic banking and finance article. In September/October 2017 I changed it to a spin off of the Products, services and contracts section of Islamic banking and finance. (i.e., the Products, services and contracts section of Islamic banking and finance is a trimmed down version of this article). The new creation is much longer than the original but I believe much better. --BoogaLouie (talk) 19:38, 21 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
