[edit]I'm making a minor edit, I'm pretty sure 30cm, almost 12 inches isn't accurate. The other sources I've looked up seem to converge on 8-10 mm for the female and about half that for males. Two examples: Admittedly, "bugguide.net" isn't the most authoritative[1] but this one from the University of Kentucky agrees. [2]

Oh, never mind. If I would read carefully, I'd notice that the 30cm was the web size. Siiigggghhh. But I will add the measurement to the section describing the size of the spider.
