Untitled[edit]

Is the suggestion that Godwin won his race on that delivery bike, as the text suggests. Or is it a non-sequitur? I've left it because I don't know which it is. But if there's no clarification, I suggest the two parts are separated. And why did moving to the Rickmansworth club bring a change to professionalism?Les woodland (talk) 09:43, 13 October 2008 (UTC)les woodland[reply]

I have slightly reworked, flowed, clarified and referenced Dave Barter's text, but the world now eagerly anticipates a full Woodland version. Autodidactyl (talk) 10:23, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Records table[edit]

The records table is not consistent or reliable, It is based on differing text statements in 3 articles, and some disagreements within articles. Please see Les Woodlands talk page where a clarification will be attempted. Chienlit (talk) 15:53, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. Chienlit (talk) 18:08, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

England vs Great Britain?[edit]

Seems a bit inconsistent to call some of the record-holders English and others British. Why not call them all British? Or all English/Scots/Welsh/whatever? Presumably there's some sort of consensus on Wikipedia as to which is preferred, so if someone knows which it is could they please fix it one way or the other?
