Good sources about new East Asia Library
[edit]Cal's East Asian library's gold is on shelves and Asian library is among best new buildings.User:calbear22 (talk) 18:40, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
The article title is wrong
[edit]If I recall correctly, UC policy is that each campus library's system is simply called the "Library" (singular). That's what it's called on the UC Berkeley Library web site. Any objections before I move this? Coolcaesar (talk) 14:20, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
- Hi, I'm an employee at the library so not editing directly. We often refer to the UC Berkeley Library but maybe Library system is more accurate - there are many (20?) libraries reporting to the University Librarian and 7 affiliated libraries reporting to their School, Institute, etc. (see FAQ for definition of affiliated libraries). All the libraries work together and it isn't always clear to users that there are two different types of libraries - which is as it should be. AthenaBear (talk) 23:27, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
