Recent changes to Vento Aureo and Stone Ocean[edit]

@雨宮鏡心: Hi, I noticed you undid my recent edits to Vento Aureo and Stone Ocean. You didn't leave an edit summary, so would you mind explaining why you did this? I'm open to input and suggestions, but the edits I made were based on Wikipedia's manual of style - specifically the manual of style's entries on manga articles and writing about fiction. According to these, a plot summary on Wikipedia should be a "succinct description of the plot and major subplots" that avoids "excessive details of twists and turns", and the length "should be carefully balanced with the length of the other sections". Character sections should "consist of brief character outlines", with the length and inclusion of any given character depending on their "importance to the story"; they should also "not be divided into numerous sub-sections", and "if the character section grows long, please reconsider the amount of detail or number of characters included". Golden Wind[edit]

The original name of the part in Japan is 黄金の風, romanized as Ōgon no Kaze. This directly translates to Golden Wind in English. In none of the original publication or promotional material is the part ever once called "Vento Aureo". It is a remnant of an outdated fan mistranslation from the late 2000s that used the Italian localized name for seemingly no reason. In much the same way as Diamond is Not Crash is an outdated translation of Diamond is Unbreakable, Vento Aureo will become completely obselete with the advent of the inevitable anime and its use of Romanji for promotional material. There isn't even going to be a valid debate about this, but if anyone would like to conjure up imaginary evidence they're welcome to do so. Otherwise, I'm changing the article in 3 days. Did you look at the link I sent? On the cover art - you may have to click the preview to read it clearly - it says in big font "JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Parte 5 Ougon no Kaze", and below, "Le Bizzarre Avventure di GioGio Parte 5 Vento Aureo". I would also like to remind you of WP:COMMONNAME, a Wikipedia policy that states that Article titles are based on how reliable English-language sources refer to the article's subject - and it is consistently called "Vento Aureo", both in reliable sources ([1][2][3][4][5]) and within official English releases of JoJo media.^[a] Even when reporting on the "Golden Wind" trademark supposedly connected to a future anime or manga release, ANN refers to it as an alternate title of Vento Aureo. The "common name" can of course change with time - especially if an official translation using another title comes out - but we are not a crystal ball.
