History[edit]

the giant puff ball originated in west Africa in a small village whose name is unknown. the people of this land found it while hunting for their supper and cooked it in addition to the wild boar who is also common in those parts. they stumbled on this puff ball in 1874 and it has been common ever since. after they found it they sent samples of it to researchers who preformed many test including genetic tests poison control among many others. they found that if cooked wrong death is possible. also if mixed with any homogenizes mixture is almost always deadly. after these tests were complete the substance was sent to america and china and reaearch was also preformed there. they both came up with the same results but america found that if mixed with salt or butter serious illness is also more than possible. eventually this species of giant puff ball spread to most of africa. after more time elapsed it spread to more countrys including america china canada (and others). few people have died from the giant puffball because news of the deadly mixtures spread rapidly but some poor souls have met their death by the giant puff ball —Preceding unsigned comment added by 170.215.41.153 (talk) 23:22, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
