TXI (NYSETXI) is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, USA. It produces construction materials, primarily cement, aggregates, and concrete.

Its Midlothian plant on the south side of Midlothian, Texas (32°27′43″N 97°1′21″W / 32.46194°N 97.0225°W / 32.46194; -97.0225) is about 27 miles (43 km) south of downtown Dallas. When the plant was built it was the largest cement plant in the country.

TXI also operates a cement plant at Riverside, California (34°1′33″N 117°23′13″W / 34.02583°N 117.38694°W / 34.02583; -117.38694).

The Chapparal Steel plant is next to TXI's cement plant in Midlothian. Chapparal Steel was spun off from TXI and is one of the largest steel factories in the country.
