The 12 cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic (Die 12 Cellisten der Berliner Philharmoniker) are the 13[clarification needed] cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic who perform and record as an all-cello ensemble.
Among the pieces they have recorded, Klengel's Hymnus for 12 Cellos, Op. 57, is an example of how each individual in a 12-cello choir can contribute a vital part of a musical whole.[citation needed]
