Brighton Belles is a short-lived British sitcom,[2] based on the hit U.S. NBC sitcom The Golden Girls, which aired for 11 episodes from 1993 until 1994.[3] The show performed so poorly in the ratings that it was pulled from the ITV schedule halfway through its run.[4][5]
