Germany and the Second World War (German: Das Deutsche Reich und der Zweite Weltkrieg) is a 12,000 page, 13-volume set of books published by the Deutsche Verlags-Anstalt DVA, which has taken academics from the military history centre of the German armed forces 30 years to finish.[1][2]

Germany and the Second World War[edit]

Germany and the Second World War is the English translation of the series.

In 1990, Clarendon Press (an imprint of Oxford University Press) began publishing an English translation of the German work. This effort is on-going in 2012, with 9 of the 13 parts having been published at a rate of one approximately every two years.

In the following table, the publishing dates of the final four parts are approximate.[3]
