Un reflet dans le vent (English, A reflection in the wind), is eighth in a published series of Préludes by Olivier Messiaen. It was composed for the piano in 1928-9 in the key of D minor. The title relates to Messiaen's interest in surrealism.

The first private performance was by Messiaen himself at Éditions Durand, on 28 January 1930, The first public performance was at the École Normale de Musique de Paris on 15 June 1937, when the pianist was Bernadette Alexandre-Georges.[1]
