Upper Vaitarana Dam, is an earthfill and gravity dam on Vaitarna and Alwandi river near Igatpuri, Nashik district in the state of Maharashtra in India.

Specifications

The height of the dam above its lowest foundation is 41 m (135 ft) while the length is 2,531 m (8,304 ft). The volume content is 1,520 km3 (360 cu mi) and gross storage capacity is 331,630.00 km3 (79,562.27 cu mi).[2]
