Pievegas is a nickname and username of a poker/gaming industry consultant, event coordinator, and content provider/photographer for various media since 2001 and based in Las Vegas. Before the poker boom of 2004, only one online poker blog (PokerWorks), a forum (2+2 Forum) were available to poker fans and players. Pievegas.com was the first multi-media website to offer photos, short video clips, tournament updates, book reviews, and lifestyle content. By 2004, several such websites exploded onto the poker scene and Pievegas.com eventually became obsolete.
