User talk:RealBigFlipsbrain/ENIL SIHT TIDE TON OD ESAELP

Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia.

Judging from your edits to Carolina Hurricanes, Edmonton Oilers and Tennessee Titans, you seem not to understand our policies on neutral point of view. Sour-grapes rewrites of articles on or related to your teams' opponents are not welcome here, and will be reverted. Perhaps, instead, you'd like to contribute to improving the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bills articles. VT hawkeyetalk to me 05:46, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy Delete

A tag has been placed on Mr. Ed's, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Daniel J. Leivick 19:38, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted the vandalism on the Ryan Miller (ice hockey) page and I am warning the IP addresses about their vandalism but please in the future leave messages or problems with articles on the talk page not the article page as this is not allowed. Xtreme racer 01:26, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I may like the Senators but no matter what the team is all Wikipedia editors have to be neutral and revert vandalism on all pages no matter what their preference is of teams or any other preferences for that matter. Also please remember to sign your posts with 4 of these symbols: ~ so confusion doesn't happen but otherwise enjoy Wikipedia. Xtreme racer 01:38, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I noticed you like to use the Mozilla Firefox browser. If you are interested you can use this userbox to indicate this instead of a sentance:
  • This user contributes using Firefox.
  • There are many other userboxes that indicate what you like from your preference of sports teams to what foods you like. If you would like to find more userboxes or just want general help with Wikipedia please leave me a message on my talk page. Xtreme racer 02:10, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you wish to learn to make your own userboxes you might want to check out this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Userboxes. It will tell you about how to make a category for your userbox as well as how to program it. If you have any more questions leave me a message on my talk page. Image tagging for Image:The Confederation of Evil Geniuses.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:The Confederation of Evil Geniuses.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

user:Runewiki777 should be very proud of himself, as should user:Daniel J. Leivick and user:Carl.bunderson.==

Vandalism

I wonder what swift response will follow user:RockMFR's vandalism of my user page (shifting my user boxes to the extreme left)?

User page

I've removed two inappropriate templates from your user page. Please do not re-add them. Thanks. --MZMcBride 22:40, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I put up a note on WP:AN requesting comments from other admins. --MZMcBride 00:20, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate your request of other Administrators, but you still haven't cited any Wikipedia regulation prohibiting what you consider inappropriate.RealBigFlipsbrain 01:28, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
WP:USER and WP:UBX are the relevant guidelines regarding this type of stuff. --MZMcBride 01:50, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and WP:COMMON. As well as some general decency. And maybe Wikipedia's ethical stand on sexist comments. Throw in WP:IAR if you're not totally convinced. Expect page protections and blocks if you readd it, because that comment (even said jokingly and marked so, as it was not in this case) is just not on. This is a fragile collaborative environment, and that userbox was absolutely rubbish. Daniel 07:36, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not change spelling styles to US on an Australian article, as also seen here. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style (spelling) for more information. Daniel 03:19, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
