The Western Rail Approach to Heathrow is a proposed rail link which would start at Heathrow Terminal 5 station, and run via a tunnel to a junction near Langley station.

It is envisaged that there would be a service of four trains an hour, stopping at Slough, either Maidenhead or Twyford and Reading.[1]

It is estimated that the project could be finished by 2024 [2] and cost around £500 million.

Heathrow Express have offered to run services to Reading stopping at Slough.[3]
